Product Description:

gBrowser is an image browser and organizer with no annoying databases or hidden libraries. What you see in the Finder is what you see in gBrowser - except gBrowser presents you with large, beautiful thumbnails and gives you the tools to easily view and organize your images. It includes thumbnail view, slideshows, an awesome multiple-monitor "Image Viewer" window, free and friendly tech support, and more.

What's new in this version:

Added much-requested batch rename feature. You will find the option under the new "Tasks" menu or in the thumbnail pane context menu. Either select your files/folders in the thumbnail pane and open the rename window from there, or you can add (and remove) files directly from the rename window itself. A small selection of presets are available out of the box, but you can make your own to suit your needs!
Minor improvements to Drop Locations window.
Fixed a bug that would cause a crash if the manual thumbnail creator didn't find any image files.
Fixed bugs in sorting by creation date.
Fixed bugs in "open in app" preferences.
Improvements to thumbnail creation code to avoid unnecessary logging.
Fixed a bug that would constantly reload larger thumbnails when smaller thumbnails hadn't yet been created.
Fixed a few other crashers (thanks to those who submitted crash logs with the new crash reporter! But remember, it helps if you write a sentence or two explaining what you were doing when the crash occured!).

Missing a pretty important feature for this type of app (at least for me) and that is the ability to sequentially rename files with some sort of common root plus an index or similar. Once that makes it into the feature set it will get that last star :)

This was a great product that seems to have been left to die. Two years later I still haven't seen anything better, and it's a shame the developer is MIA.

Even though this program crashes every time I use it, I'll give it 5 stars, it is that good, it's worth putting up with the bugs. PS: The Image Viewer is a great feature
